Based in Copenhagen, Maersk Procurement supports all A.P. Moller - Maersk business units across the world with purchasing various kinds of goods and services from containers and ship engines to IT soft/hardware.

In Purchasing Logistics you select suppliers and purchase material for rigs or vessels. It is your job to ensure that products are delivered in due time in the right place at the right price. You are challenged daily with decisions on priority and securing deliveries that will have direct impact on the entire supply chain. You are heavily engaged in supply chain processes.
In Strategic Sourcing you are part of cross-functional sourcing teams that work on a project-by-project basis with focus on cost savings and optimisation opportunities. You develop sourcing strategies by participating in workshops and negotiations of strategic important purchases to A.P. Moller - Maersk. Other tasks include spend gathering and analysis and elaboration on Total Cost/Value of Ownership models.
In Category Management you are responsible for developing strategies and negotiating contracts for products of strategic importance to A.P. Moller - Maersk. You are also responsible for continuously developing the close relationship with our suppliers of strategic importance as well as with Group business units. This ensures that we utilise total Group volume when negotiating global contracts.
